Top Thrill Darcy

Top Thrill Darcy was born out of a need for speed. After numerous speeding tickets, and over priced amusement parks bringing her down, it looked as if she was going to have to become Low Speed Chase...until the discovery of Roller Derby. Now Top Thrill Darcy can once again enjoy the wind in her hair...well, in her face anyway.
The number 88.3 represents what's on her dial when she whipping around town in her other wheels.
Darcy's alter ego is a teacher in a school for emotionally and mentally disturbed children, and has been working with such children for over three years. She hates ignorant parents and hopes to one day work in parent education to help parents learn that what they do deeply effects their children.
She also sells anything that's not nailed down (candles, jewelry, her own belongings...) because teachers get paid crap...and teachers in her field get paid less than that.
In addition, her biggest fan is her five year old boy, who likes to tell others that his "mommy does roller derby skating". Followed closely behind said boy, is the other man in her life, who has graciously accepted derby has taken over her life, and loves her anyway. So much so, that he wishes to marry her! Of course, she can't get going fast enough on that project!
